Obituary for Janice Frieboes

Janice Frieboes, 59, passed away on July 17, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on January 17, 1957 in Bakersfield, CA. to Barbara Baker and Otis Ross, and grew up in Alameda while her dad finished his US Navy career.

Upon Mike’s retirement from the U.S. Coast Guard, he and Janice moved to Lake Havasu City in 2004, after falling in love with it on their 2003 honeymoon. Janice was a very active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4299 in Lake Havasu City, and the Alameda Aerie 1076, where she enjoyed helping out and volunteering in many events and fundraisers, and served as Madame President of both. Janice will be greatly missed by many friends at the Eagles.

She is survived by her loving husband Mike Frieboes of Lake Havasu City, AZ, mother Barbara Ross of Alameda, CA, sister Charlotte Jolly of San Francisco, daughter Jennifer White-Baughman of Leesville SC, her granddaughters Kayla, Keira and Raelynn, as well as her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Otis Ross.

Janice has wished to be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at the Lake Havasu Eagles on August 14th from 1-3pm, potluck to follow. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to Hospice of Havasu.
