Obituary for Richard Robert Fiscella

Richard Robert Fiscella, 82, passed away August 29, 2016 in Lake Havasu City. Richard was the youngest of eleven children, born May 21, 1934 in Paterson, NJ to Joseph and Marianna Fiscella.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Frankfurt, Germany, where he met the love of his life, Rosemarie. They married in 1958 and upon returning to the states moved to Paterson, NJ before relocating to Palm Springs, California in the early sixties, where they managed several hotels. Richard was also an air conditioning contractor for the City of Palm Springs.

Richard and Rosemarie moved to Lake Havasu City in the mid-eighties and became English Village merchants, owning the Golden Unicorn and the Glass Shop for many years.

Richard is survived by his son Ronald, daughter-in-law Patricia, granddaughters Wendy and Kira Fiscella, six great-grandchildren, Jayde, Jacob, Jeremia, Juliet, Evan and Ethan, brother Tony Fiscella from Las Vegas, NV, sisters Millie Skrabonja and Josephine Giresi of Naples, FL, and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the caring staff at Lake Hills Inn for their wonderful care of Richard during his final months. Per Richard’s request, there will be no services, but the family will hold a celebration of life at a future date.
